I am very pleased to be teaching the new Intensive French Program. I am looking forward to a fun year of learning in french. This week our class has been working on character building and team building of the classroom environment. It is important that all children feel comfortable in the classroom and that they feel comfortable to try and take risks while learning french. We have gradually eased into the french instruction and will continue to do so until one day very soon (next week) we will be speaking french at all times. I look forward to working with you and your children this year.
The important items sent home this week were as follows:
1) Parent Welcome Letter which can be found as a link on this wiki site.
2) $7.00 is needed to pay for the student agenda which every student has received.
3)$12.00 Cultural fee is needed to pay for cultural presentations and excursions.(see form sent home on Thursday Sept.6)
4) Student information forms are needed to be reviewed, edited, and returned to myself ASAP.
5)Computer/Internet Use Form is needed to be discussed and signed and returned to myself ASAP.
6) The RES Home and School sent home an information letter Sept. 6 for your review.
7) A volunteer form was sent home on Sept.6 for those Parents/Guardians who are able to help. Please return these forms to myself. Your help is greatly appreciated.
8) Please continue to review nightly your child's agenda as this is the quickest form of communication that we can have on a daily basis. I review your child's agenda every morning to see if it has been signed and if you may have any notes or concerns to communicate. I appreciate every effort to see that this form of open dialogue is continued. Thak-you for your efforts and for a wonderful first week.
